Future dual leadership at AVANTEC Zerspantechnik

Since 01.12.2010, AVANTEC Zerspantechnik appointed Uli Werthwein as the second Executive Director. Uli Werthwein together with his father, Gustav Werthwein, lead the family business. 

Uli Werthwein joined the family owned business after his technical training. For 20 years he has been working in several positions in the company and has experienced a comprehensive knowledge in metal cutting as well as in Middle Market Business areas.

Founded as a faniliy owned company in 1989 by Gustav Werthwein, AVANTEC ranks as a young company with many years of experience in the design and manufacture of milling tools. As pioneers in the developement of high positive tooling systems, AVANTEC has established a reputable name.
