VC tool series: AVANTEC`s new all-round face milling tools

The success key of Avantec`s new VC tool series and its high efficiency lies in its multitooth capacity. The tool body is designed to work with a maximum of cutting edges, and the great stability level of the inserts is able to meet best quality performing requirements. The positive interaction of the 8-edge Ofensiva inserts results in very high volume and feed rates and guarantees the suitability of the Avantop VC series in both rough and finish processes. Typical for Avantec`s tool is their extreme smoothness, which allows a vibration-free operation and the use of the cutters even in low-performance machines.

The continuous development of the Ofensiva inserts has significantly contributes to this huge success. The new AVANTEC grades Ice² and Nero², designed respectively for the steel and cast iron machining, are used for the fabrication of these inserts.
